Dr. Sharon Rodriguez

Dr. Sharon Rodriguez, DNP, MSN-Ed, RN, is a nursing education leader with extensive experience in academic administration, clinical practice, and student-centered instruction. She is listed as Director of Nursing for the Miami Campus at FVI School of Nursing and Technology, where she helps lead nursing education and supports the preparation of future nurses for professional practice.

Dr. Rodriguez’s has a strong commitment to nursing leadership, mentorship, and academic excellence. She is a nurse educator and mentor, who has held senior leadership roles in higher education, including serving as president of Chamberlain University’s Miramar campus. Dr. Rodriguez brings more than 30 years of academic, administrative, and clinical experience to FVI and to its students

Dr. Rodriguez’s credentials include a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a Master of Science in Nursing Education, and active licensure as a registered nurse. Dr. Rodriguez works professionally at the intersection of healthcare practice and nursing education. Her professional focus centers on developing strong nursing programs, supporting faculty and students, and advancing high-quality nursing education in South Florida.
