Educational Philosophy
Facility and Equipment
FVI offers its students a modern facility providing an atmosphere conducive to safe hands-on learning and containing teaching aids and audio/visual equipment. The main campus facility is composed of 13,339 square feet of space. It includes theory classrooms, medical and computer labs, a student lounge, a reception area, fully equipped administrative offices, a library/resource information area with available hard references, as well as online subscription databases of journals and information for students to study and research.
FVI School of Nursing and Technology opened an extension facility in Miramar, located at 3520 Enterprise Way, Miramar, FL 33025. Faculty and students will have access to a common lounge, and reception area in addition to a theory classrooms/lab area that is composed of 30,000 square feet of dedicated space. All student support and administrative services are provided from the main campus.
Bathrooms at both facilities are available and are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. There is ample parking for the students, including an elevator to access the school facilities. Both facilities are located close to public transportation and local restaurants.
FVI School of Nursing and Technology is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). FVI is also licensed by the State of Florida, Commission for Independent Education (CIE).

Our Allied Health Programs
FVI School of Nursing and Technology offers nursing and allied health programs designed to prepare students for in-demand healthcare careers in South Florida. Several programs include a hybrid component, with select classes delivered online, along with hands-on labs, clinical experiences through externships, and flexible day and evening schedules.
ASN Nursing Program (22 months) — Prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-RN and pursue a career as a Registered Nurse.
Practical Nursing (72 weeks / ~18 months) — Prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-PN and pursue licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Pharmacy Technician (36 weeks / ~9 months) — Covers pharmacology, compounding, medication dispensing, and pharmacy law. Includes externship.
Patient Care Technician (30 weeks / ~7 months) — Trains students in patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG. Includes clinical experience.
Medical Assistant (36 weeks / ~9 months) — Covers clinical and administrative medical assisting skills. Includes externship.
Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (9 weeks) — Prepares students for entry-level patient care roles in hospitals, long-term care, and home health settings.
Emergency Medical Technician (16 weeks) — Prepares students for emergency pre-hospital care and to sit for the NREMT certification exam.
NCLEX Remedial Course — Designed for nursing graduates who need additional preparation before sitting for the NCLEX exam.

FVI serves students in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and across South Florida through campuses in Miami and Miramar. Both campuses offer hands-on healthcare training, student support services, and access to nursing and allied health programs.
Miramar Nursing School Campus
