FVI’s 2022 NCLEX Pass Rate
FVI received a first-time pass rate of 90.9% in 2022, the highest first-time pass rate of ALL other accredited AD-RN programs in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties. At FVI, our Nursing program’s curriculum was designed specifically to prepare students for the current NCLEX-RN exam as well as the NextGen NCLEX-RN (NGN). Students begin to prepare from the start of our program and are tested along the way. This process and program have proven to be successful, as shown by our NCLEX test results. We are extremely proud of our students, faculty, staff, and all of FVI for our ongoing efforts to provide the best experience and education for our students who entrust us with one of the most important decisions of their lives.

ASN PROGRAM
The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program, and our general education courses, were created to help students develop their knowledge, skills, and competencies as they progress through the degree program. Students are motivated not only to apply their learnings, but also to think like nurses while simulating real-life experiences and during their clinicals. FVI goes above and beyond by offering career skills in addition to the courses. We not only offer interviewing and resume writing classes, but we also incorporate communication skills into the curriculum so that students can receive feedback and guidance on their bedside manner and other soft skills needed for success.
WHAT IS THE NCLEX?
The National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, or NCLEX-RN, is one of the most important exams that nursing students will take, as many of you are aware. The exam is given to students to ensure that they are prepared to work as entry-level nurses, and it will test you on specific knowledge and skills that you will need in your nursing career. To assess your ability to think like a nurse, the NCLEX consists of at least 75 questions covering topics such as patient care, disease detection and prevention, pharmacology, and more.
