FVI School of Nursing and Technology is Awarded the Prestigious Lamp of Learning from the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)

FVI School of Nursing and Technology is excited and proud to announce that we were awarded the Lamp of Learning for 2019!  Our Miramar campus far exceeded the national average pass rates for NAHP certifications in 2019.  Only 3 test sites earned this award out of the 312 test sites nationally for 2019.  Test-taking can be a stressful, nervous situation.  The Lamp of Learning award is verification that FVI partners with students to ensure they pass.  We help students to really understand the materials that we teach.  By being confident and knowledgeable, it makes taking certification exams a lot easier and provides for positive outcomes.

The National Association for Health Professionals is the premier U.S. credentialing body for healthcare professionals.  Their mission is to promote and provide quality certification programs that validate knowledge in the healthcare arena for the enhancement of patient care and professional practice.    The content outline, specifications, and individual exam questions of the NAHP certifications are based on job analysis study results and are regularly reviewed and approved by a panel of subject matter experts, the Examination Development Committees, and the psychometric consultant.  An official distinction is awarded in the form of rigorous credentials to medical assistants, administrative health assistants, EKG technicians, coding specialists, dental assistants, patient care technicians, pharmacy technicians, phlebotomy technicians, and surgical technicians.

FVI would like to give a big shoutout to our faculty.  They are the backbone of our school.  They play a large part in a student’s educational process and journey.  Not only do they keep our students focused on their career goals, but they also prepare them for certifications that increase their marketability in the Allied Health industry.  Faculty is with students every step of the way from day one of class, at graduation, and throughout a student’s careers.  Thank you instructors and faculty for everything you do every day for each and every one of our students.

At FVI School of Nursing and Technology, our mission is to ensure students are set up for success.  From personalized attention, hands-on learning, and career services, to a focus on certification pass rates, FVI is committed to our students.
