About the Program

At FVI School of Nursing and Technology, we understand that our students time is valuable. We also understand that not everyone has the luxury of dropping what they are doing in their lives to pursue their dream career. That is why we offer evening and day classes to better suit the schedules of our students who may need more flexibility to attend to their day-to-day responsibilities. We understand that everyone learns differently, and are fully dedicated to making sure each student gets the attention and time needed to gain the knowledge necessary to succeed. We keep our class sizes relatively small to further ensure that each of our students receives the attention and time they deserve.

Our program will typically take months to complete. Once the program’s course work has been completed, students will begin an internship or externship. The internship or externship will put the skills you have learned to the test. This portion of the program will take 6 to 8 weeks and can be completed in the front office, back office, or both. Upon completion of our program, students will be advised to take a state test to become certified and practice medical assisting in Miami.
