- Lab – 100 Hours
- Clinical/Externship – 96 Hours
- Total Duration – 16 weeks
Classes are held two days per week, with additional hours for clinical rotations at approved medical facilities and EMS providers. The program is structured to support student learning through both theory and skill application.
Weekly Schedule
- Day 1: Lecture-Based Instruction (9:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Day 2: Lab Practice (9:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Externships: Scheduled based on student availability, often including ride-alongs and emergency room rotations.
Get Real-World EMS Experience

Externships provide a structured opportunity for students to observe professional EMTs in action and to apply the skills learned in class to real-life situations. These experiences also help students better understand teamwork, rapid decision-making, and the emotional resilience required in the field.
