Program Overview

As a student in our Cyber Security and Network Technician Program, you’ll learn about every aspect of Cyber Security and Networking – from building a computer from scratch, to cabling infrastructure, securing wireless configurations, software installation and distribution, implementing auditing policies and performing scheduled vulnerability-assessment scans.

Through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, exercises, and laboratory projects, we’ll introduce the 21st century cloud-based systems administration on AWS and prepare you to perform all basic configuration procedures to build Networks such as LANs, WANs, and WLANs using the most common routing protocols.

Upon completing this program, you’ll be qualified to configure, manage, support, and troubleshoot operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Linux Fedora/Redhat, configuring Cisco switches and routers, as well as being prepared on the latest trends and techniques in risk management, risk mitigation, threat management and intrusion detection.

Equipped with the training from the Cyber Security and Network Technician Program, graduates are qualified for high demand careers in IT security and cloud computing. Will I obtain any certifications?

Students will be equipped to sit for the following certification exams: Network+, Security+, Microsoft Windows Server Exam 70-740, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect. In addition, the curriculum will also cover a portion of Cisco CCNA and Linux Plus.
