Navigating College Affordability at FVI

When considering your future career and the necessary training, the price tag of higher education can feel like a major roadblock. Here at FVI, we believe your finances shouldn’t’ stand in the way of your aspirations. Our dedication team of financial professionals is here to help guide you through every step of the process, ensuring you have the support and resources you need to pursue your dreams.

Financing Your Education: Options & Guidance

Here at FVI, we’re committed to providing you with the information and resources you need to make the best decisions for your future. Whether it’s federal grants, loans, scholarships, or private financing options, we’ll help you explore all avenues available to you. Our goal is to ensure that you have access to the financial assistance you need to embark on your educational journey with confidence.

  • Federal Grants vs. Loan Programs

We recognize the importance of accessible education. Federal grants, such as the Pell Grant, offer financial aid without repayment, primarily based on financial need and other criteria, supporting our commitment to student success. While loans must be repaid, federal student loans often feature lower interest rates compared to private loans, aligning with our dedication to affordable education. It’s essential to understand loan terms and borrow responsibly, a principle we uphold to help you effectively manage educational expenses.

  • Private Loans

For eligible individuals, private loans from lenders provide an option with personalized loan terms and conditions. As these loans are not government-backed, it’s essential to thoroughly grasp their terms and conditions. The benefit? At FVI, you have the flexibility to select the lender that aligns best with your financial needs.

  • Transfer Credits Accepted

FVI welcomes the transfer of up to 24 credits for our Associate of Science in Nursing program. Please note that the acceptance of transfer credits is contingent upon the review of official transcripts.

  • Scholarships

Scholarships provide an additional avenue of financial support, awarded based on merit, talent, and specific criteria. FVI is here to assist you in finding scholarship opportunities that complement your career goals. Be sure to checkout our scholarships page for currently available opportunities.
