If you’ve made the decision to become credentialed through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), you must first pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). As this field continues to grow, so do the new opportunities.
At FVI School of Nursing and Technology (FVI), we offer a test prep course designed in line with the knowledge areas that will be tested on the exam. The course includes lessons to review the material tested and help you pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Students will also be taught test-taking strategies and techniques to increase their chances of passing the exam.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Pharmacy Technicians is projected to grow 5 percent from 2021 to 2031. Increased demand for prescription medications will lead to more demand for pharmaceutical services.
The population is aging, and older people typically use more prescription medicines than younger people. Higher rates of chronic diseases such as diabetes among all age groups also will lead to increased demand for prescription medications.
