Through our training and certification program, our students become prepared to work for a certified home health or hospice agency, generally under the supervision of medical staff. Most of the work will take place in the clients’ homes, in group homes, or in day service programs. The daily requirements can include,
- Assisting clients with their daily personal tasks, like bathing and dressing
- Performing light housework
- Shopping for groceries and preparing meals that meet your clients’ dietary needs
- Organizing your client’s schedule and appointments
- Providing basic health services like assisting with medication
- Arranging transportation for your client
